Basic STCW Course
The Basic STCW Courses consist of the following:
- Personal Safety and Social Responsibility
- Personal Survival Techniques
- Marine Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention
- Elementary First Aid
In addition to the above, vessels may require security training. Most cruise liners require the Competence in Security Awareness, other industry sectors normally require the Designated Security Duties (yachting, commercial etc.).
Medical First Aid training is required by certain positions on board, as well as by certain industries. Please check with your company which you will require.
