Do you need a Seaman’s Book? SAMSA accepts the following as minimum training in order to obtain a Seaman’s Book:
Additional requirements when submitting your application to SAMSA are:
- SAMSA Approved Medical Fitness Certificate – Review SAMSA Approved Doctors
- ID / Passport (SA)
- 2 ID / Passport Photos (Colour)
- Letter of Employment
- Application for Seafarers Record Book
